I’m a part of this gang.

A gang of moms that let their boys & girls go to serve our country.

We are so proud, but deep down we know the sacrifice.

They are good.

The best.

We have invested every last breath, tear and sweat into their lives. We have raised them to be the best. To love others, to serve others, to be respectable, to be honorable, and to be worthy of their calling.

Never did I envision this while holding them as a baby, this letting go, not knowing…

Will thy come home?

Will they make it?

Will they outlive me, as they should?

My heart swells with pride and sorrow as the tears are hard to hold back.

I hope you know the sacrifice… what this gang gives.

What our boys & girls give...for your freedom.

And what our hearts give… as we live from the depths that no other love knows…

Except the One who made us.
